Continued from Part One
Yesterday we began our inquest on how to bring glory to the Father via our actions.
We explicitly saw that the only way to bring glory to the Father is by bearing much fruit.
Today, we be seeing why and how achieving this great demand of the Father is as easy as breathing itself.
The good news is as a new creature in Christ created for the glory of the Father, the supernatural (by reason of new birth) is your natural; for as He (Jesus) is, so are we in this world (1 John 4: 17).
That is to say, living a life of ‘much fruit’ production is your heritage and right (see 1 Corinthians 2: 9).
It is not something you are to ‘work’ to achieve rather it is something you are to accept to experience. It is a part of who you are – a product of the Spirit at work in you (see Zechariah 4: 6 & Ephesians 2: 8 & 9).
You must have this mind-set if you ever desire to bring glory to the Father by your actions.
The individual that believes that by his actions (prayer & fasting, studying the Word) he would get to the point of bearing much fruit would keep looking at his abilities and feelings to take action (thereby loosing precious time in the process), whereas he that sees ‘the supernatural’ as his birth-right would always see Jesus instead of his abilities and would act because he is instructed to do so, not because he ‘feels’ he is ‘now ready/qualified’ to do so.
This simple difference makes a world of difference in results!!
I am in no way discrediting the place and power of studying the Word, praying, fasting and fellowship.
I am only pointing out the importance of seeing oneself as God sees you, and funny enough, this can only be gotten by studying and searching the scriptures the right way.
So now you know the truth, it’s time to produce results worthy of your nature!
Say NO to mediocrity and being the average Joe’.
See yourself for who you really are and prepare for that examination. You don’t need special prayers to get ‘smart’ enough to understand what you are reading.
You are already ‘smart’, yea, wise because Jesus died on the cross, rose again and gave you the Holy Spirit.
Don’t plan on getting a ‘C’ or ‘B’; you owe it to the Father to get an ‘A’.
Put in the required effort; your exploit is His glory!!
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 5: 16
Give your all to that project given to you. Give your all to that job, to that assignment, to that family.
You have access to the wisdom of the Father- in the Bible, in your spirit and in His leading- use it to bring glory to the Father.
Hear me well! If with the same resources, under the same conditions, an 'un-regenerated' spirit produces the same results as you did then you are under-performing.
The wisdom that created the world is in you, plug in to it. The power that created all things is in you, fuse with it.
I choose to give glory to the Father via my actions, how about you?
