BREAKING THE HABIT OF SIN
The battle of sin seems to be the most common and lost battle of mankind. Even those who prefer not to believe in God or repercussion for evil, sometimes find themselves wishing they had not taken actions (actions they are not proud of).
Sadly even those that profess to be children of God also find themselves fighting this same battle throughout their existence here on earth, many failing more times than they ever got to succeed.
Well, I have news for you, your stay on earth is not meant to be a battle with sin; a struggle to make heaven as many put it or make it seem.
Also I have a (too) good (to be true) news for you, there is a way to be free from the compelling force to do wrong and live in perpetual regrets; despite your many efforts to keep clean.
Listen to me; the way out is not by praying and fasting, having accountability groups, reciting and reading laid-down rules, laws and regulations. Neither is it reading the bible either.
The good news is, it has nothing to do with what you do or can do, and all you need is to accept what has been done ...
As long as you depend on your ability to do right, you would never get it right, it doesn’t matter if you have said the salvation prayer in times past or you are yet to (i.e. a sinner swimming in the pollution of sin and its bondages and limitations).
You cannot break the sin habit by yourself. You have to either put faith in Jesus or remain in your struggles. There are no bargains to this deal...
What is that which has been done and how can you accept it?
Before exploring the answers to these questions, it is most expedient that you understand the hidden nature of sin; because it is a most neccessary foundation on which the answers sought for are built.
This we shall do as time unfolds
