In the previous parts of this series, we looked at different keys to receiving the Word of God.
Now, these keys do not work in isolation. If we want His words to produce maximally in our lives, then we must use them all. Some of these keys are so fundamental that ignoring them renders the truths heard unfruitful, while others only reduce how many-fold increase we receive.
I desire that by learning and practising the keys to receiving the Word of God, every revelation you hear would produce a hundredfold in your life.
Today, we bring this most needful series to an end by looking at another two keys.
7. Accept the Word in Faith
By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:3 AMP
Most revelations we receive from God would look impossible to obey and difficult to comprehend. The Word ought not to make sense to our mind. It is spiritual and makes sense to only our spirits and a renewed mind.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh conveys no benefit [it is of no account]. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life [providing eternal life].
John 6: 63 AMP
We must receive the Word in faith. Recall, that we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises] (2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP).
The question to ask is not how sensible does this sound. Instead, we are to ask how does this fit in with God's Word and character.
Every new creature has received the faith of God. You can believe every statement from God.
So, choose to do so!
8. Celebrate The Word
I will rejoice in God because of his word; in the Lord will I rejoice because of his word.
Psalm 56: 10 GNV
The final and most important step to receiving theWord is celebrating the Word of God. If the Word says something about us, then we must gladly accept we are/have what it says.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches
Psalm 119: 14 AMP
Some individuals see the Bible as a book to find promises they can take to God in prayer for Him to fulfil. However, if He says anything, then it is already so. We do not need to pray to make it happen. We are to act with the confidence we already have it and rejoice in this knowledge.
If the Word says you have divine health, then glory to God!, you have divine health. Dance, shout, Sing it out loud. It is already yours.
The Word of God is all-powerful. If He says anything concerning you, then that settles it. Can you see it now?
Now you have these eight powerful keys in your hands, what would you do with it?
