One of the most commonly asked questions on earth is; 'If there is God, why is there evil?'. 'If He is a good God, why then do bad things happen to good people?'. 'Why hasn't God stopped evil if He is so powerful?'
Let's be frank for a moment. Other than the natural disasters - tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. that brings about great destruction*, man is the main perpetrator of evil on earth. Wars, bloodshed, robberies, etc. are all machinations of man. It thus holds that if man, the major player in the existence of evil on earth, is reformed, the epidemic of evil/destruction would abate or cease.
Long before the world got to the state it's in now, God took a look at mankind and concluded that man is inherently evil , his wickedness (depravity) was great on the earth, and every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually (Genesis 6: 5).
All human beings are inherently evil and no matter how good they may look or act (sooner or later), this evil manifests through words and/or actions. All men in their best states are evil and are part of the evil epidemic in the world, irrespective of how little their manifestation of this evil may be.
The good news is that God has already done His best to solve the problem of evil among men. He freely offers men a better purpose, an improved reason for living , and a new life. He is intent on changing the world by changing one man/heart at a time and His plans are already in motion.
God stops evil by changing one man/heart at a time. He offers a better purpose, an improved reason for living , and a new life.
He has set His sight on you at this moment and He wants to change your heart, give you a new purpose and drive, and most importantly, a new life.
